I have seen many gorgeous brides wearing beautiful wedding dresses, but somehow, the total look comes out wrong, or the fit is not perfect – it’s because the bride isn’t wearing the right gown for her shape. Unfortunately, your dream gown isn’t always the best gown for you. When having your gown made, consider your body type first before you decide on fabric, embellishments, and accessories. • Petite brides can benefit from gowns with slim silhouettes. Empire-waist gowns are a good choice. Stay away from ball gowns, as these would make you look shorter.
